Blue Curaçao

The origin of Blue Curacao goes back to the year 1500, when the Spanish decided to plant our famous oranges from Valencia on Curaçao Island. The climate converted a sweet orange into a more bitter one, and the inhabitants decided to make spirits with it.
They extracted oils from the bitter orange peels, and leaving it to macerate with alcohol and other ingredients resulted in this exceptional liqueur.
In Sanz, a brand with Valencian origins, we have continued with this tradition, and have developed this syrup from the essential oil from orange peel that gave its origin.
Ideal for combining with gins, tangerine, coffee and cocoa.
